2-day Seminar on "Community Policing" concluded at the S.K. Police Academy in Udhampur on 31.01.2024

2-day Seminar on "Community Policing" concluded today at the S.K. Police Academy in Udhampur. Nineteen officers, of the rank of Sub-Inspector (SI) and Inspector from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, participated in the training program.
The concept of community policing has its roots in the origins of the police force but has gained popularity in recent decades. In many democratic societies, prioritizing public relations has emerged as a promising alternative to the traditional model of law enforcement.
On the occasion a valediction function was organized in the Academy, Sh. Rakesh Sambyal, Chief Prosecuting Officer, SKPA served as the chief guest.The course was coordinated by Sh. Amit Parkash Sehgal, Sr.PO assisted by HC Randip Singh SKPA Udhampur.
