In the Seminar (19) officers of the rank of SI and Inspector of J&K Police participated. 02 days training programme on Community Policing designed to meet the basic objectives of community policing like Community Policing, an overview, Police Community relationship for better society, Counseling and Mediation as a tool of grievance redressal at Police Station vis-a-vis a tool for strengthening community relations, Police Station as basic unit of access to develop police community relation, Community Policing, its importance-need of the millennium, Police Community relationship for better society, Responsibility of Media in social Engineering.Different guest faculty from SMVDU Katra, SKUAST Jammu and faculty from SKPA will deliver lectures to the participants. On this occasion an inaugural function was organized, Shri Rajinder Kumar Gupta, JKPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Indoor) was the Chief guest.
