(19) Officers of the rank of SI to Dy.SP of J&K Police attended the training programme. The objective of the course was to sensitize the Police Officers regarding the various legal provisions of law to protect the rights of the children and proper care of child during the period when liberty is curtained. The training programme also familiarize the participants with existing legal provisions of child rights in the UT J&K viz-a-viz National and the various improved methods of handling the juveniles were discussed during the training. The course was coordinated by Shri Sukhvir Singh, Dy.SP, AD (Admn) SKPA, assisted by Shri Nasser Mehmood Naik, Inspr. SKPA Udhampur. |
