All the Police Officers, Trainees, Staff and families residing on the campus are provided with facilities as well-stocked library, Senior officers mess , Junior Officers mess, Subordinate Officers mess, gymnasium, sports room, Hospital, Bank, Post Office, Transport and Welfare Stores.

Consist of two VIP suits and twelve rooms. There is also G.O's hostel with 24 rooms to accommodate the G.O trainees.

The Academy has a dispensary to cater the needs of its trainees, staff and their families. All the services are rendered free of cost. Medicines for minor ailments and chronic diseases are dispensed here.. An ambulance is available to shift the patients. Medical camps and Blood Donation camps are done as per requirements in association with Hospitals and Blood Banks. For serious ailments, the Academy draws upon referral hospitals in Udhampur.
A gymnasium, equipped with some physical fitness and body building equipments is available inside the campus.
Extension counter of J&K Bank with ATM facilities is available in Academy
The Academy provides different types of conveyance for senior officers, Jr. officers and trainees to travel from one place to other for official purposes. Transport is being provided to the guest faculty, visiting dignitaries. Police Academy has a fleet of Heavy Vehicles , Medium Vehicles , Light Vehicles , Two Wheelers etc. All transport is also provided to the trainees during their field visits. A school bus is allotted for children of the staff who reside at the Academy. There is an earmarked vehicle for the staff of the academy. All the staff assemble at matador stop near Town hall Udhampur and are brought to the academy by bus and are dropped there in the evening.
The Library caters to the intellectual needs of Senior officers, faculty members, staff, trainee officers attending various induction and in-service courses. The Library personnel have the motto "Service with Smile ". They expect from the Library users - "Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve ". It holds more than 10,000 books on various domains of knowledge including larger proportion of books on Police Sciences, Law, Forensic Science, Forensic Medicine, Computer Science, Administration etc. Also include wide range of periodicals and journals of national and international repute.
The Academy is provided with a post office which is located on its campus. The timings are from 10.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m. All senior officers of the academy, trainee officers & staff members can use all the facilities of the post office.
DRY CANTEEN AND WET CANTEEN caters to all the needs of the trainees during their stay at the academy. All the uniform articles, dress material, clothing, training material etc. are sold at reasonable prices. Essential commodities like edible oil, rice, pulses, cosmetics, consumer products are also sold to the trainees, faculty and staff members at reasonable prices.

Every trainee takes part in the games and the Academy has elaborate arrangements for sports activities. Daily sport activities are conducted for the trainees under supervision of their instructors and are overseen by the senior staff of the Academy. Constant and regular participation in sports over the time ensures that the trainees, especially the in-service ones, improve their physique body co-ordination which is crucial for active policing duties. A sports meet is organized every year. The athletes and the players of the Academy participate in the Inter-Zone sport meet also. To facilitate all round development of the trainee, special emphasis is laid on sports related activities of which, the following areas have been developed: Hockey Ground, Football Ground ,Basketball Court, Volleyball Court ,Handball Ground, Kabaddi Ground ,Lawn Tennis Court, Badminton Court. 
Police Family welfare Centre was established at Academy during the year 2008. Training in stitching and knitting was also provided to the family members of the staff besides stitching the uniforms for the Jawans. Besides this, 2864 pairs of chest Nos. were fabricated for trainees of various courses, 05 Nos of key chains were prepared and 09 pieces of sweaters were knitted 18 Nos. of KD dresses were prepared for horse scort, 58 Nos. KD Dresses were prepared for Drill Instructors, 40 Nos. of table covers were prepared and 35 of Nos. banners were prepared in the welfare centre SKPA Udhampur during the year 2012.
